The Edge On Folk is broadcast every Saturday from 8am to noon, Pacific Time, on CiTR fm 101.9 in Vancouver, and live on www.citr.ca < wherever you are. The show has been hosted by Steve Edge, more or less every week since June 1985! It is now syndicated on CHIR fm on Saltspring Island one week later on Sundays at 10am, and Wednesdays at 5pm. Vancouver Folk Music Festival Previews and Canadian Folk Music Awards Nominees: Music by many of the nominees for this weekend's CFMAs in Calgary, and a choice selection of artists who will be performing at the 49th annual VFMF in July; their line-up was announced this week! Also a few performers coming to the Mission Folk Festival the following weekend, and heaps of new releases from Songlines magazine etc., plus previews of local concerts scheduled for the next few days / weeks.
